Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking a Physiotherapist to become part of an interdisciplinary team that provides Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and Treatment to older adults with multiple complex health needs. The Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment guides a multidimensional specialized geriatric team approach to care that determines a frail older adult’s biomedical, psychosocial, functional and environmental needs.
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy. A Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy is preferred. A current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the CPO. In addition, successful completion of the Geriatric Assessor training course and Core Indigenous Cultural Competency Training Program, and the P.I.E.C.E.S. Training program are required. Certification as an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer is preferred. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working within Specialized Geriatric Services and completing assessment and treatment guided by the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment
