Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an individual who is an innovative leader with the ability to fully engage a multi-disciplinary team to provide direction through planning, organizing and controlling the day-to-day operations of the Regional Bariatric Assessment and Treatment Centre, Diabetes Care Service, Outpatient Nutrition Counselling Ophthalmology Laser Clinic and Chiropody. The ideal candidate will be required to lead the team through change, and stabilize the program while focusing on continued development of the service which will require experience with proposal submissions.
The successful candidate should have a four (4) year Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in in a health related field as well as a Certificate of Registration in good standing with a regulatory college. A Master’s Degree in a health-related discipline is preferred. The successful candidate should have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working as a Health Professional within a health care environment and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a leadership/supervisory role, preferably within a health care environment.
