Clinical Trials TV
In honour of International Clinical Trials Day 2016, HealthCareCAN is pleased to offer this selection of clinical trial videos and success stories from some of our country’s academic healthcare organizations.
H10 is an action roundtable composed of CEOs from Canada’s largest research hospitals from across the country. Their organizations share a tripartite mandate of patient care, training and research with approximately 40 other such research hospitals.
The research successes of Canada’s leading healthcare organizations are reported in the media every day and contain information to help improve our health, modernize the health system, show public support for health research, introduce new treatments, and address public health issues. HealthCareCAN‘s Innovation Sensation database, offers you a one-stop shop for this information.
In partnership with the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC), HealthCareCAN hosts the Academic Health Sciences Network National Symposium, an annual event gathering leaders in the Canadian and international academic health science community. The participants identify the internal and external factors to achieve excellence and innovation in healthcare.

Submission to advisory Panel on Healthcare Innovation
HealthCareCAN believes that focussing on the architecture, infrastructure and pathways through which research and innovation can be integrated more efficiently and effectively into care, is one of the most impactful ways to bring a large set of innovations into our healthcare system quickly. This will have the greatest potential to create better health, better care, and better value for all.
Action Plan for the sustainability of health research
75 senior leaders from across academic health sciences networks (AHSNs) in Canada met to discuss the sustainability of health research. The goal was to develop an action plan that allows AHSNs to sustain health research in care and educational settings and maintain their three missions of care, training and research.
Networks of Networks
The partnership agreement between HealthCareCAN and the Network of Networks (N2) facilitates joint goals in clinical research, particularly in the areas of education, advocacy, strategic coordination and alignment. This partnership with HealthCareCAN signifies the alignment of a large number of strategic and operational leaders ready to advance Canada’s clinical research standing on the world stage.
