Island Health is looking for a supportive leader for the Manager, Inpatient Beds position in Campbell River.
As an Acute Care Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of planning, organizing and directing the delivery of inpatient patient care services at the Campbell River Campus (CRH) and the Comox Valley Campus (CVH) North Island Hospitals. This position will support the maternal child and paediatric units, social work, medical daycare, cancer care and respiratory therapy.
We also have a temporary full-time Manager, Inpatient Beds role that supports the medical/surgical and emergency departments as well as crisis services.
The North Island Hospital Campbell River & District opened its doors in 2017. The 105-bed hospital provides quality patient care to the residents of Campbell River and surrounding communities.

- A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in a relevant health discipline
- Seven years of healthcare experience, including several years at the supervisory/management level in an acute care area.
