Reporting to the President and CEO, and as an integral member of the Senior Management team, the SVP Home & Community Care leads a team of health professionals delivering home care and community support services operations across two provinces where VON operates. The SVP provides strategic leadership to establish direction for home care and community support services that are the core business of VON. In addition, the SVP provides strategic leadership to the Practice, Quality and Risk corporate team at VON. In alignment with VON’s strategic plan, the SVP Home & Community Care acts as a transformative leader to create vision, strategy and implementation plans through collaborative leadership. The SVP promotes a culture and environment for clinical and community support leaders and their teams to provide innovative, inspirational, and high-quality client care programs and services to enable both exceptional outcomes and experiences for VON’s clients and their families. Additionally, you will provide strategic leadership in establishing the practice and quality organizational direction and play a key role, in partnership with the Senior Management team and direct reports, in areas of quality and risk management, and utilization management related to site operations, infection prevention and control, client safety, professional practice and client/family engagement. The SVP develops and maintains strategic external relationships with funders, partners and other health care organizations in concert with the President and CEO.
