Position Overview
As a member of the management team, the Clinical Team Manager’s primary responsibilities relate to patient care, Human Resources Management, Financial Management, policy development and professional standards, program planning, quality management, equipment/ supplies/ space management, in-service education, professional development, research, environmental management, committee participation, and communication. The position of Clinical Team Manager functions in a manner consistent with and supports the mission, vision and values of the Interlake – Eastern Regional Health Authority.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in areas of responsibility and related fields.
- Minimum of two (2) years first line, middle, or senior administrative experience.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from a recognized university.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Active member in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or an associated regulatory body as appropriate.
- Certificate in Health Care Administration preferred.

- Knowledge of computer systems, word processing, and email applications.
- Demonstrates effective supervisory experience.

- Working knowledge and familiarity with northern health issues, culture, and the population to be served.
- Commitment to continuing self-development and continuous quality improvement.
Physical Requirements
- May be required to travel throughout the service area, requiring a valid Manitoba driver’s license and use of a personal motor vehicle.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
