ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role of Director for Quebec Accreditation holds a significant position within HSO’s Accreditation Canada team. This Director will play a crucial strategic role, overseeing operations across various sectors in Quebec. Acting as a catalyst for change management, the Director will address operational challenges, ensuring the efficient delivery of programs. Furthermore, they will be accountable for crafting and executing business plans while maintaining a profound understanding of client requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and monitoring business plans for market growth in specific sectors.
- Providing strategic oversight and addressing operational challenges to ensure programs are delivered efficiently.
- Lead change management initiatives
- Maintain strong relationships with clients by having a deep understanding of their needs.
- Staying on top of emerging trends, deepening corporate knowledge and strategizing corporate initiatives in a specific health services area.
- Building authentic and enduring relationships with staff, clients, partners, consultative, and operational committees; rallying them to contribute to your goals and success.
- Identify with clients and assess their unique needs through an understanding of their performance indicators, culture and the context of their organization.
- Contributing positively to the culture of our workplace by staying positive, engaged in the work you do and energized by the difference you’re making.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field, such as Healthcare or Business Administration.
- 7+ years of progressive and varied experience in client services and business development within the Quebec Healthcare system and in the field of healthcare.
- Knowledge of the health care environment in Quebec
- Tried and tested assessment, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills. This is key. You’ll be interacting daily with our accreditation team and with our valued client organizations.
- Change Management Experience
- Fully Bilingual, French and English
Desired Qualifications:
- Are familiar with the Quebec Certification process.
- Are familiar with our Qmentum program and accreditation process.
- Are available for travel.

In Your First 30-90 Days:
- Complete our orientation program with other new hires to learn about HSO, our values of trust, inclusion, collaboration, innovation and learning, and our mission of quality improvement in healthcare and social services.
- Set your performance and learning objectives for the year in collaboration with your people manager.
- Meet regularly with your people manager to discuss your learning progression and alignment for your accountabilities.
