Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) is a regional leader and hub for select acute, long-term care and other health care services. Accredited with exemplary standing, ARH is comprised of the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital, The Grove Long-Term Care (LTC) Home, and a variety of Community Programs. With a 2023 budget of nearly $45M, ARH employs 360 employees is supported by 180 physicians and 190 dedicated volunteers.
A highly respected and progressive 141-bed organization, ARH continues to transform to meet the needs of the rapidly growing population it serves in Arnprior and the surrounding region. It is within this exciting context that ARH is seeking its next President & CEO.
Reporting to and working in close collaboration with ARH’s Board of Directors, the CEO provides strategic leadership to ARH’s employees, physicians and volunteers in pursuit of the organization’s Mission, Vision, Values and strategic objectives. The CEO plays a crucial role in advancing the interests of the patients/residents ARH serves as well as its contribution to the broader healthcare system.
As an ideal candidate, you are a credible, highly respected systems thinker and visionary leader with previous executive level (CEO, CNE, VP, etc.) experience in a complex and dynamic health environment. ARH will benefit from your strong business acumen, track record of change leadership, partnership development and ability to identify opportunities for innovation and agility in the face of a turbulent health environment. You are an outstanding communicator and relationship builder whose strong commitment to quality patient/resident-centred care engenders trust and confidence across a diverse constituency of patients, families, stakeholders, and partners. You consistently display the diplomacy, humility and political acuity to serve as an advocate for the system while conducting yourself with the highest levels of integrity in all affairs. You are an inspiring, visible, and values-based people leader respected for your inclusive and transparent style, willingness to listen and engage, and ability to foster shared accountability through a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence. Peers value your strong governance knowledge demonstrated through previous experience reporting to, or serving on, a board of directors.
