Combined Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist I

This opportunity is eligible for the recruitment incentive with return of service agreement. The Valleyview Health Centre is actively hiring a CLXT I. Where you’ll have the opportunity to work both independently and as a member of our team. With your high level of organization, communication and interpersonal skills you’ll be responsible for performing site specific manual and automated laboratory procedures and diagnostic imaging exams. Your strong attention to detail and time management skills will flourish as you enter, review, report and distribute patient results, perform quality control procedures and maintain records. You’ll receive and review imaging requests for complete pertinent clinical and order information. You have an ability to encourage others and build positive, respectful and collaborative working relationships while assisting in the orientation and training of new staff and students.

Combined Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist II

Your Opportunity:

Take on this opportunity to mentor and supervise the day-to-day operation of department staff and services in their area. You will be responsible for the coordination, organization and operation of the site Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments. With a customer service focused approach, you build productive and respectful customer relations and take responsibility for customer satisfaction. You have an ability to influence change by encouraging others, building positive, respectful and collaborative working relationships.
