Dec. 5, 2016 (Ottawa) – HealthCareCAN welcomes today’s announcement by Minister of Science, the Honourable Kirsty Duncan on the initiation of the search process for a Chief Science Advisor.
“This is an important milestone in the advancement of the Science Agenda in Canada,” said Mr. Bill Tholl, President and CEO of HealthCareCAN.
HealthCareCAN is pleased that Minister Duncan declared her desire to work towards ensconcing this position in legislation so that it would become an office available for future generations of scientists in Canada.
